Hello and welcome to my Galleries. I hope you enjoy them.

My name is Ty and I have been enjoying digital photography since I purchased a Canon DSLR during our 3 years in Colorado.

Our stay in “God’s country” allowed me the opportunity to photograph a wide variety of landscapes and wildlife, some of which you will see here.

My Family and I currently reside in the Central Florida area, where we have been since 2005.

The Girls Plus DK : Danielle (DK) spent the night over with our girls the other day. On the way home Abby spotted some rolls of hay and asked if we could take pictures, so we grabbed LIzzy and headed back.
Well, we headed back by way of the old railroad tracks.
After a few pictures at the tracks we got to the hay. Needless to say the hay won the popularity contest and the girls had a blast!

This is an excerpt from Rachele's senior shoot that my wife and I had the opportunity to do. I have included the gallery link below if you would like to see some more of the pictures.

This picture took several shots to make come out right, but it was very fun to put together. I really liked the way her hair and hands came outside of the frame.

Believe it or not - he actually managed to keep hold and almost got back on top before stopping. Don't know that I could have done the same. Pretty Cool.

12-06-08 - A "Heart" for Christmas - We were at the Christmas Parade the other night and during the fireworks I managed to catch this shot. Felt it captured a neat thought about Christmas, in all the hustle and bustle this year always remember that God's love so many years ago in sending His Son Jesus is what this time of year is all about. - Ty

This Image other than some slight adjustments to color has not been altered. The shape of the fireworks is as it was captured by the camera. I would love to say that I saw this and intentionally snaped it, but this was one of those pleasant surprises when I imported the images into my computer.

This picture is an excerpt from a double Senior photo shoot that I had the opportunity to do. This beautiful young lady and her mother along with her friend, Rachel and her dad, joined my wife and I for the shoot. It was great having both of them there as it gave them someone to cut up with. Throughout the shoot they were constantly picking at one another and having a blast.

10-28-08 - Thank God it's still flying - One of the Car dealerships around here has this giant flag flying - going by one night last year it caught my eye.

In our country there are many different kinds of people with many different occupations, likes and dislikes and one country that allows them the freedom to have those occupations, likes, and dislikes. No matter what happens in the next few days we are all still Americans and may Father God continue to bless our country.

10-04-08 - Father and Daughter - That is... my Father and my daughter. We were visiting with my parents and Abby sat down and put her hand on dad's.

03/16/09 - This is My territory. Why.....Won't.....That.....Other......Bird......Go......Away??????

Last year I put in a picture of this little guy sitting on a branch and told the story of how he liked to beat up the "other bird" in the mirror. Well, he's back and this time I caught him in the act.

11-19-08 - Two days worth of work caught in a single bulb - We had just completed putting up the "light" tree when I happened to glance down at this bulb lying on the roof and noticed the reflections that it captured. Interesting what a different perspective will do for you.

11-18-08 - Christmas Tree - For the past two days we have been preparing the 1800 bulb, 30 foot "Light Christmas Tree" that we always put on top of the Foyer of our Church. Tonight we put it up and got it ready to for lighting on the Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving when we have our "Night of Thanks" service. This shot was taken from below and inside the radio tower that makes up the center part of the tree. All of the lights are white. I converted it to Red, Green, and Blue in separate files and then combined the files into one and using a masking layer removed color from two of the layers to end up with the image that you see.

Lizzy's thoughtful/restful moment (only lasted about 3 seconds) she is my 90 mile an hour daughter. Always going, doing until she hits her other speed...

11-03-08 - Hungry Snake - Got a call to come get a snake that was by the office building today - When I got there this is what I found. Bad day for the lizard.

10-12-08 - Another one from the railroad track - this one I added a water color filter

01-04-09 - Old Photo Treatment - would love some feedback on this one - I have been playing around with making a picture look old, yet still keeping a lot of interest. This is B&W with grain added, then sepia filter, then a weathered wood filter over that.

10-11-08 - took the girls out to a railroad underpass for a few pictures. Really liked this one. Some of the other pics can be seen in my Galleries under Family then The Tracks.

10-05-08 - Bear Feet - teddy bear that is...saw him laying there with his feet out and had to snap this.

CLOUD BATHING - at least that's what my daughters called it when they laid on the driveway in the rain. The reverse of sunbathing I guess. Ha! They had a blast regardless of what it is called. Hope you are able to turn a dreary day into a fun one as well as they did. I think the trick is to stay young at heart.

10-06-08 - Solid Wood Block - at least it was solid before the holes were drilled into it. Made the block a long time ago, it caught my eye today.

03/10/09 - Not sure what kind of flower this is but it caught my eye. It was off to the side of the trail right next to the water. Out of four or five buds, the sunlight seemed to pick this one out to light up. Anybody know what kind this is?

11-29-08 - Bird on a pole - Caught this guy sitting on a stick in the middle of hundreds of Yellow flowers. Almost looks like a sentry guarding his stash.

02-08-09 - Hey, is that the guy from National Geographic? Man, I hope not, here I am right in the middle of preening...My feathers are a mess...I am not ready for pictures. Tell him to come back later, and get my agent on the phone.

11-10-08 - Sisters Hide and Seek - This is from a family set that we did for some friends of ours. Especially liked this one in black and white.

10-30-08 - Hallelujah Night Hot Dogs - Our church has a halloween alternative for all the kids every year to give them a place to come have good safe fun. This is a picture of some of the hot dogs on the grill.

10-27-08 - Cowbirds or Snowy Egrets - Had to stop off at the store and pick up a few essentials for the family. Saw this bunch all hunkered down in a field next to the store.

10-20-08 - Had jury duty today so I didn't get out much with the camera. Stepped outside just before dark and caught this one. It's a bit blurred due to the lack of light, but caught Teddy Bear our dog doing his part to ward off the mailman. Now this could be detrimental to the post over time except that his aim is terrible. We got a charge out of it, so I thought you might as well. Enjoy.

Here is another one from our vacation. I have been playing around with getting a silhouette against the sunset. You can still see a little bit of her shirt in this one.

03/12/09 - I'm tellin you I saw an armadillo! You go over there and see if you can see him....

They did see an armadillo and decided to try to catch him - needless to say, the armadillo is still happily roaming free having narrowly escaped the embarassment of being photographed after being caught. Ha!

10-24-08 - Has been raining all day today, much needed so I guess I can't complain. Amy and I were out driving around and saw this stand of flowers growing by the fence. Also caught some kind of cocoon in the shot.

10-08-09 - This is a shot from our vacation in TN. This guy was scared out of the rocks by the kids. After a few moments of "Where'd He Go", he popped up on the other side of the stream by me.

03/17/09 - My wife and youngest daughter had an event tonight which left the older two and 'dad' at home for the evening. Since my oldest daughter was a little bummed about the evening I decided to do a photo shoot for her. This is an excerpt from that shoot. The rest can be seen at the gallery below.

This is a shot from a Bridal set that I had the opportunity to do the other day, and no this isn't her Wedding dress.
This is the dress for her bridal shower. Sorry, but you can't see the Wedding dress until after the Wedding. :-)
I will say that it is beautiful and we were able to get some great shots.

11-30-08 - Stretch! - this little woodpecker caught our attention while we were out walking. Guess he needed to stretch his wings a little. Managed to catch this while he had his wing extended.

10-19-20 - Hey everyone, I have been out for a few days. Had two photoshoots this week. The first was Senior pics for a friend of ours that is getting ready to graduate, hope to be able to post some of those. Will know more once I talk with them.

The other was for Heartland for Children, they have about 60 children that are available for adoption and needed volunteers to photograph them so that they can post the pictures on a moveable wall. Had a blast doing that one, just a bit heartwrenching when you start looking at the pictures during processing. One of the children used sign language to say "I love you" in the pictures. WOW! I know that God has the perfect family and place just for them. Sorry I won't be able to post those, but due to confidentiality and stuff.

This guy was on the side of my house the other day. I turned the camera sideways to get the view from "Lizard Perspective".

What are you and why are you here???
Caught this one out on the boardwalk - had to lay down to get this perspective. He kept landing closer so that I had to keep backing up in order to get the lens to focus. Must have caught his attention at least for this shot.

12-16-08 - Ronald McDonald - "Man That Guy Hasn't Aged A Bit" - That was a quote from one of our friends the other night as this parade entry rolled by. I had to laugh!....Thinking WOW! that's what eating McDonalds will do for you???? Ha! Enjoy.

10-21-08 - This guy has it out for my driver's mirror. He will fly down and "fight" the 'other bird' that keeps showing up in the mirror. Hilarious to watch.
